The 2024 Jeep Wrangler continues its legacy of impressive power and all-terrain capability with four powertrain options, two transmission options, and three world-class 4x4 systems. In its most basic setup, the Wrangler comes with a 3.6L V6 engine, a six-speed manual transmission, and Command-Trac part-time 4x4. This delivers an impressive 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The 4xe powertrain, which pairs this engine with two electric motors and a rechargeable battery pack, is available for the Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, and High Altitude trims. The Wrangler 4xe lays down 375 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque while maintaining up to 56 MPGe. Finally, exclusive to the Rubicon 392 trim is a 6.4L HEMI V8 engine. Mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and Selec-Trac 4x4, the 392-cubic-inch engine delivers an enthralling 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The final 4x4 system is Rock-Trac 4x4. Available in part-time for the Rubicon and full-time for the Rubicon X, the Rock-Trac system provides a 4:1 low-range gear ratio for maximum off-roading traction.

As we mentioned above, the Wrangler has received an array of updates for the 2024 model year. While not all-new, the Wrangler's design has gotten a significant mid-cycle refresh. For example, the emblematic seven-slot grille is upgraded with a new color scheme inspired by the one first seen on the Rubicon 20th Anniversary Edition, featuring Neutral Grey Metallic bezels, black textured slots, and a body-color grille surround.
